Tot School- Letters N, O and P!

Oh goodness, I am such a Tot-School drop-out!!! :(

We have been finished with these letters for awhile now, and took a lengthy break before them.. I am hoping to get back on track after the holidays, because right now, our schedule is CRAZY!

Tot School

Numbers on his letter N..

Pasting N words on his Letter N worksheet..

Noodle counting!

Play-doh faces.. making silly noses!

Letter O octopus!

Octo-dogs for lunch.. Aidan LOVED these!

(& making it talk...!)

We learned about putting things in order (sequencing) & had fun with these Blue's Clues cards.

I had both boys that I babysit over the beginning of December, so we had fun with an ornament craft!

We didn't have any ornaments on the tree yet, so it was fun to watch the boys decorate it together! :)

Paint on letter P..

We did a TON of puzzles, and Aidan has mastered all of them!

This is Aidan's current favorite puzzle:

Making pizza!
(please excuse the hair, we just came in from playing in the snow outside!)

Being such a big helper.. and sneaking bites of cheese!

Not bad for his first pizza! :)

Tot School- Letter M!

Tot School

We're back!

We basically took the entire summer off from Tot School.. but that doesn't mean that we stopped learning.. Aidan is eager to explore everything these days, so we enjoyed the taking a break :)

Aidan was excited when he saw that we were going to continue learning about the alphabet.. picking up where we left off..

..Letter M for monkeys!

Aidan LOVES using a glue stick still, so I had to print out the letter collage for him.

Next up.. making muffins

Aidan LOVES to help in the kitchen, so he was all over this activity!

Yummy chocolate chip muffins!

We got out the markers next, and Aidan had fun coloring & eventually drawing on himself..

..so we moved on to something different.. making monsters!

I found these at Michael's, Aidan loves stickers, so we spent a bunch of time making different monsters!

I also found some marbles at Michael's as well.. I never would have guessed that he would have so much fun playing with marbles.. he was entertained for hours!

His favorite thing to do with them, was to "race" them down his car ramp.. we had so much fun with them together :)

Since Mommy is on her iPod all of the time, I had to download some games to it for Aidan! I found a super cute matching game, and he has it completely mastered!

Still looking for some other apps for him,
so if anyone knows of any cute ones, let me know! :)

We had a fun week & look forward to reading about what everyone else has been up to!

Tot School- Letter L!

Tot School

I know it has been awhile since I posted anything tot-school related.. but it doesn't mean that we haven't been doing anything!
Aidan hasn't really been into any kind of structured activities lately, mainly because it has been beautiful outside & he just wants to PLAY!

Here's what we have done for the past few weeks with the letter L,
and a few 4th of July activities too!

Aidan put letter stickers on his L for his alphabet book..

He loved matching lids to the glass jars,
and was having a great time with this activity!

Aidan wanted to continue playing with the jars,
so he made some music for Mommy :)

We went on a walk, collected leaves &
talked about the different shapes & sizes of them.
Then, we played a matching game with all of the leaves we collected.

For the week before the 4th, I thought it would be fun to do some holiday activities.. Aidan loved them!

We printed out some cute patriotic paper airplanes & had fun flying them..

We made firework paintings from here,

Aidan had a blast with the glitter, it was everywhere!

He was very proud of his artwork!

We also made a cute shirt that was inspired by this..

I know that using bleach isn't very kid friendly, but Aidan was very aware that he could only squirt the special water on the shirt, he LOVES squirt bottles!

Since he loves squirting so much, he went a little overboard with the bleach.. you'll see in a minute :)

Mommy made the flag stencil & Aidan placed the stars where he wanted on the flag. Aidan had such a great time with this, and is asking to make more! ..it turned out super cute :)

We made some 4th of July painted flowers from here,

and gave them to Grammie!
Aidan had fun painting with the watercolors.

..and here's the finished shirt! He was wearing it proudly over the weekend..

hope you had a great 4th of July! :)

Tot School- Letter K!

Tot School

I know it has been a long time since we have participated in Tot School.. but it doesn't mean that we haven't been doing anything!
Aidan hasn't been too keen on Mommy's structured activities, so we took a break for awhile. We are back, and we had so much fun learning about the letter K!

Here's Aidan gluing on his K objects, although he thought the king was a "guy" & the kitten was a "cat."

Our letter K was covered in kisses.. and yep, Aidan & I wore lip gloss to kiss our K! :)

We took advantage of all the leftover jellybeans from Easter to cover an uppercase & lowercase K.

Aidan & Daddy had a fun time with this sticker book about knights.. there were SO many stickers, and Aidan loved putting each on in the right spot!
These books come in different themes, I am going to definitely get some more!

My favorite activity this week was making Kool-Aid playdough!
Aidan picked out what color he wanted, and we whipped up a batch!

It smelled so good!
Aidan liked making key prints with his new play-dough..

..but enjoyed driving his tractor over it even more!

In preparation for our next activity, I had Aidan glue kites on for these bunnies..

..sorry bunny on the end, guess you don't get a kite! :)

When Daddy got home from work, it was a PERFECT day to fly a kite!

This only lasted for about 5 minutes though, as Aidan jumped on the kite when it hit the ground.. and broke it. It was still a fun time though!

We wrapped up the week by making kitchen utensil paintings!
Aidan liked this, and I did too!

Here's the finished masterpiece!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend & Mother's Day!
