Things around here at lunchtime have been less than interesting lately..

So.. this may not be a funny & cute "tiny talk tuesday".. 

but it was precious to us & had to share!

One of our kitties, LC, was unfortunately hit by a car Sunday night.. waking up to it on Monday, we weren't sure how to break the news to Aidan, if he would even understand it & let alone care.. but he was so heartbroken! :(

Anyways, putting him to bed tonight, he wanted to talk about LC..

here's some cute things he said:

"Mommy, I wish LC was like a monster, 

then she could have eat the car that runded her over.. GRRR!!!" 

(my typical boy talking here!)

"I want to go to sleep fast, so I can wake up & LC won't be died anymore..." 

(bless his heart!!!)

Goodbye sweet little LC.. you'll be missed!

Had an interesting lunch today.. Aidan; "Look, Mama! My strawberries are taking a bath in my soup!" 

 Yep.. they sure are!   I figured his lunch would be a complete waste.. but he ate most of it! :)

Mommy (in the kitchen)- "Aidan, are you going to finish
eating your peaches?"

Aidan (from the living room)- " No way!..
I am too busy making a mess."

I loved hearing this from him today, at least he was being honest!! :)

I haven't participated in this for awhile, but Aidan has definitely been talking up a storm lately! :)

Just yesterday, he ran up to me & said, "I'm so happy Mama!"
.. yep, it completely made my day.

Another recent favorite.. as we were leaving church, it was sunny & warm outside, instead of raining.. Aidan looked up & said,
"thank you sun!"

Aidan is talking constantly now & I found the perfect blog carnival to join in on..
so, hopefully I'll have some new wisdom from Aidan to share with you each week! :)

We had to make a trip downtown this afternoon, and happened to be parked right by Tommy's Goodie Shoppe, a HUGE retro candy store.
(Aidan's dream come true!)

Mommy was in a good mood, so we went in.. Aidan was overjoyed filling up his basket with penny candy.. when I noticed that he kept going back to get more & more of the same items.. I asked what he was doing...

He said, "One for Aidan, one for Daddy, one for Mommy
& one more for Aidan!"

Clever kid! :)
