1. What do you think makes a good friend, or friendship? Someone that I can be 100 % MYSELF around.. that I can confide in & trust, that gets my sense of humor & can be goofy around.. love you Michelle!! :)

2. What is the last thing you bought & later regretted? Oh man, I had an impulse buy a few days ago & am now regretting it..shoulda just saved the money!
I bought an iPod Touch.. do I need it? NO. Do I want it?.. YES!
I can't wait for the UPS guy to deliver it! :)

3. Have you ever had a prank played on you? Nope & let's hope it stays that way!

4. What is your favorite theme park? I've only been once, but I LOVE Walt Disney World. The Magic Kingdom is.. well, magical & I hope that we can someday take Aidan!

5. Have you ever seen someone else give birth? Yep.. I watched my friend Shannon give birth to her daughter Mackenzie.. I was only 20, and nowhere near wanting any kids yet.. so it was interesting! :)

weeks 46 & 47!

5 Question Friday!

So.. I haven't participated in 5QF for the past 2 weeks..
I have been lazy, what can I say!? :)

Here's to trying to stick with it again!

1. If you could go back to college, would you change your major? Or, if you were to go to college, what major would you choose? Oh, man.. I wish I could redo my whole college experience! My major was graphic design, and I definitely would have continued to pursue that if I had finished..sadly, I chose the partying route, and only stayed in school for 2 years. I would love to go back one day & get a degree though! :)

2. What do you love most about your home? I absolutely love the fact that we are living in the house that Tony grew up in. I know that it is on the small side.. but we are so comfortable here!

3. What type of books do you like to read? I love a good fiction book, but I mostly find myself reading non-fiction. I love to learn about anything & everything that I can.. especially parenting books at the moment..
potty training is in our very near future!

4. What is the grossest thing you have ever eaten? Grits, hands down.

5. If you had to be a character on a TV show, whom would you be? Seriously? I have no clue.. I don't watch that much TV anymore. Well, I do watch toddler TV sometimes.. I guess if I had to choose amongst those characters, I would be Toot from Toot & Puddle..

week 45

Memorial Day weekend

It was such a HOT weekend, it was perfect for swimming! Saturday & Sunday Aidan got a bunch of pool time in,
and he also spent some time with two of his cousins, Hayley & Brody!

I was not expecting Aidan to even go into the pool, after what happened here, I figured that he would be hanging onto Mommy & Daddy the whole time. Boy, was I wrong! By the end of the weekend, he was JUMPING in the water!

On Sunday, Brody came by for a visit..
he is getting SO big!

The best part of the weekend was watching Aidan jump into the water!


He did this about 50 million times..


..but the look on his face was so worth me catching him over & over! :)



I LOVE being a Mommy!

tractor place!

As many of you know, Aidan is completely obsessed with John Deere tractors.. we have been wanting to take him to the new dealership in Three Rivers, to check out all of the tractors. We finally got a chance to this past weekend!

This was the best trip for Aidan, he was so excited & you couldn't wipe the smile from his face! He kept saying, "tractor place, tractor place!"


Everyone there was so nice & told Aidan that he could sit & "drive" anything that he wanted.. I wasn't even expecting that he would be allowed to do that!

Before going on our tour, we stopped inside & let Aidan pick out a toy, a John Deere combine of course!
Mommy HAD to get Aidan a hat too!


Aidan was making noises & really getting into "driving" the tractors.


We had such a great time, and will more than likely be going back soon.. it's all he is talking about! :)
